Why am I here? Many people have different theories, some are scientific and some are opinionated but lets look at it from a truth perspective. To know why you are here is to know your purpose, if you don't know your purpose it is impossible to fulfill it. There are five (5) basic keys for your reasons of existence, why your Creator placed you here. 1. You are here to express God's image. Romans 8:29 says "For those God foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of His Son, that He might be the first born among many brothers". To express God's image means we act how He acts. Scripture says God is Love so if we interpret 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 says God is love, God is patient, God is kind and so forth. This is exactly how He wants us to reveal His image in us so the world may see Him through us. The second (2) reason why you are here is to enjoy fellowship with God. Remember in Genesis we see Adam and God walking together. To have fellowship is to have a relationship with someone you love, showing interest and experiences, communicating with each other and so on. John 4:24 says "God is a Spirit and His worshipers must worship in spirit and truth". Not self but in spirit and not based on your opinion but His truth, which is His Word. So we can fellowship with God spiritually in His Word, what He says in it. Next week we will look at the other 3 reasons why we are here so remember our first two(2) reasons are...
