Purpose & Passion

Many people will say if we are made in His image and likeness, why is there is so much evil in the world (hate, selfishness, impatient, greed, out of control etc.) Well the answer to that is found in in Psalm 51:5 and it says 'I was shapen in iniquity (sin) and in sin did my mother conceived me. So we were all born imperfect. Now in Genesis 1 when God created the world, after everything came into being He said it was good.God created everything perfect until the first man Adam made the choice of disobeying His Creator (Genesis 3) and that is when everything created good became imperfect. That is why Romans 5:12 says 'Just as sin entered the world through one man (Adam), and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all have sinned.' God loved mankind so much that He gave him a will the ability to choose to obey or disobey Him. So you see Adam did not lose heaven(as some christian believes) but he lost God's perfect image and likeness. Even though we lost it, God in His wise sovereign had a plan in place for us to get back His image and likeness. What as that plan?
