Who Was That Perfect Sacrifice?The answer is the Good Shepherd, that would lay His Life down for sinful humanity. He would do this not just to cover our sins but also to make us clean again so we may receive His Holy Spirit that He promised in John 14:15-27, that would get us back to our original self. The self that was in right alignment with God, the self that had dominion over God's creation and the self that knows his purpose and assignment in the earth. After His resurrection Jesus appeared to His discipline, He breathed on them (John 20:22), they received the One who will again lead and guide us back to His image and likeness. When Jesus ascended back to heaven, the disciple waited for the baptism of the Holy Spirit that would give them power and authority to fulfill His will and purpose for our lives. As I said at the beginning of this blog we have to know our Source to know who we are in order to fulfill our purpose which is His purpose and will. Then we established that the Holy Spirit is needed in our life to know our Source, the Creator of Heaven and Earth. It says in I Corinthians 2:11 that no one knows the the mind of God but the Spirit of God (Holy Spirit). Need to know what God is thinking about you and what He says about you?
