Purpose, Passion & Potential

Hey Kingdomites, Its another Friday to give God thanks for yet another week that He has purpose for us to have. When I look at life now there are so many things that are going on that are negative and oh so evil. We wonder if God is still there and to answer that Yes He Is. A few weeks ago i did a study on grace. We hear our pastors talk about it or lets just say preach about it... yes there is a difference but we will discuss that at another time. We read about grace in the Great Book ( The Holy Bible) but do we actually know what grace is. When I look up the definition of grace it means unmerited favor, favor from God we did not deserve. I read the story of Paul and his oh so famous thorn in the flesh ( that situation or person that 'eeks' you, gets on top of your nerves) he wanted to get rid of. He prayed to God to remove it three times and God said my grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:7-9). It had me thinking what is this grace. So I meditated on it, read devotionals on it and other scriptures about it. Then it hit me like a lightening bolt.... no matter what is going on in our lives and around us there is grace somewhere there lingering waiting for you to find her and acknowledge her. No wonder God can say Give thanks in ALL (meaning good and bad) circumstances for its His will in Christ Jesus (1Thessalonians 5:17) . Then I realize its up to me to find GRACE. I began to look back at certain situations and circumstances in my life even before I became a child of God and did not acknowledge Him that grace was actually there because that situation or problem could have been worst. 2 Corinthians 9: 8 says God is able to make all grace abound to you so that in ALL things at ALL times, having All that you need you will abound in every good work. When I look up abound it means plentiful, abundantly, omg this is soooo good. What God is saying He is able to have unmerited favors aka blessings to be plentiful to you in ALL things, ALL the time and in everything good I do. Its when we see grace in any circumstances, let me put it this way ALL our circumstances then and only then we can begin to give thanks to God. No matter what is happening or what is going on or what we are going through, my advice to you today is as each day comes and we have life in our body please find GRACE and then we will begin to see that GOD IS STILL THERE.
