So we are picking up where we left off last week, 'Knowing God'. So how do we really know God? Well there are basic strategies we can use and there are also personal strategies we can use. God the Father through Jesus Christ left us with two Sources where man, us, human should function from, one (1) -His Word and two (2) -The Holy Spirit. The Word lays the basic foundation and the Holy Spirit helps with the personal guidance, and both works together as one, just as God the Father and Jesus Christ are ONE (John 17). Now the Word tells us how God interacted with others throughout history and also tells us how He wants to interact (relationship) with us now through Jesus Christ with the help of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is there to help and guide us (John 14:26) with our personal relationship with God through the saving grace and faith of Jesus Christ. So if you ain't reading the Word and have the Holy Spirit inside of you, people there is no way you can know God. You can search high and low. These two Sources, very important Sources are needed for 'Knowing God' and that my friend is just the first step.
