In our previous blog we talked about the 'Take Off' season in which we are aware of our problems, situations and circumstances on a journey, a destination God has planned for us. If you did not read the previous blog (last week) I suggest you do. Now after the 'Take Off' season we now begin to go through the 'Turbulence' season, this is the roller coaster ride of emotions,, the whys and hows, figuring the problem and situation out, a lot of mix emotions happen here. We are humans so there are going to be the crying, the sadness, the frustration, the anger....but do not stay there too long. Just remember even though we are humans, we serve a Sovereign God who is all knowing and all powerful. My suggestion for this, and this suggestion is because of my own experiences with God dealing in this 'Turbulence' season is bringing God in the situation. What I mean is tell Him everything about what is going on (even though He's all knowing) but He wants to hear it from you. He is interested in your conversations (prayer) to Him, down to the minor details. Tell Him how you feel and what you would want to see happen about it. Trust me He is listening . The way to handle this season is to put it in God's hand, Psalms 55:22 & 1 Peter 5:7, not because you told Him what you want to see happen, it's up to Him how He does it . Isaiah 55:8-9 says ''For my thoughts are not your thoughts neither your ways are my ways declares the Lord, His ways and thoughts are higher than ours. My experiences with that is when I throw my circumstances and problems to Him and let Him handle it, you will begin to know God personally in this season. In the 'Turbulence' season it is up to you what you decide to do figuring it out on your own or let Him handle it completely. When you allow Him to handle it .... it will determine how your next season turns out. Remember do not let your emotions over ride your decisions in this season but begin to let Him in on the situation. I heard a wise person once said "Train your mind to be stronger than your emotions or you will lose yourself every time"-Dr. Claude Hibbert. Just believe I CAN and I WILL get through this season.
