The Message Behind The Tee

Thank God Its Friday or in the abbreviated way 'TGIF', but realistically 'Thank God for Everything or TGFE' literally EVERYTHING. Well we are on our last season and that season is the one everyone looks forward to. This is the one God talks about in scriptures, the REWARD season, the season of 'Destination', where the plane finally lands and arrives at that oh so anticipation location. I am excited just talking about it. I love what Peter said in 1 Peter 5:10 "And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace(Favor), who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore, confirm, strengthen and establish you". That's some good stuff right there! Another scripture says "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us (Romans 8:18). Sitting here writing this I got a revelation on this 'Destination' season, the first three (3) seasons...'Take Off', 'Turbulence' and 'Altitude' are the preparation seasons for the 'Destination' season. You see God can't reward us with something we did not endure or persevere for (pay attention... I did not say earn, you can't do anything to earn from God that is why we have grace). In the natural you have to show yourself deserving for a promotion at work(different criteria), it is the same in the spiritual. God does not go around handing out rewards like that. Even Jesus had to suffer to receive a crown, placed in the highest position in the Kingdom and given a name that is above all names (Philippians 2:5-11). Jesus worked hard (spiritually) y'all by being obedient and trusting the Father through the process. That is why we need to focus on our earthly journey (not material things) in order to fulfill our God given purpose because that is what will determine our final heavenly reward (we get earthly ones too). One of my favorite saying is 'Do not be so Heavenly Minded that you are no earthly good'. We will discuss the 'Destination' season some more next week God's willing.
