FAITH is a word that you hear in the Christian walk and also in the secular world. But what is faith?. I know that it is something you gotta have in this life and cannot live without. Hebrews 11:1 says "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see". So you cannot physically see faith, it's invisible. But how do we go about it is the next question. 2 Corinthians 5:7 says "We walk by faith and not by sight". So faith is believing and walking in the invisible. In our walk with God , faith is a Lifestyle, that is how we roll. God says without having faith it's impossible to please Him. We have to walk and believe inn the invisible to please God. We also see that Faith is an action word because walking and believing is something you do (read James 2:14-17). Faith is dead if it is not accompanied by action. This is one area I believe every single Christian struggles with. We are so used to the physical and the five senses, seeing, touching, smelling, hearing and tasting... but we as Believers we function from the invisible. Even our God, Our Creator is invisible because He is Spirit and He wants us to function as He does. Please loke and subscribe to this channel to hear more videos like this. If you know the story of Creation in the first chapter of Genesis, we see God spoke everything into being. He called the seen from the unseen. God spoke those things that are not as though they were and just like that Creation was formed. I believe from my experience faith is something you have to practice and gradually you will get the hang of it, but some days will be harder than some, it depends on what you are believing for. God will allow you to have faith in something small as a parking space where people may say don't drive there because there's never parking, but He will tell you to drive. You may rather choose to take public transportation but God says drive, I got you. You have to make a decision to believe in the unseen God and an unseen parking spot and drive which is the action. As a baby believer I always wondered what should the action be and how do you know what to do? It's when I read Hebrews 11 (a few times) about the hall of faith with those who displayed great faith, it was in obedience of the instructions given by God that action is done . It's all in the obedience. Even though you don't see it but you're going to obey anyways because you believe in what you don't see yet. In verse 29 of Hebrews 11, it says by faith the people passed through the red sea, the action here is their obedience to go when Moses told them to go. Another example is verse 30, by faith the walls of Jericho fell after the people marched around them for 7 days. What is the action? , the instruction to March around the wall for 7 days , sounded stupid but it's the obedience of the instruction that the wall fell. God usually gives an instruction when He wants you to believe but it's when you obey the instructions faith is exercise and that's when God sees your faith. So my question for you is, are you being obedient to the instructions so God can see your faith?
