Welcome To The Message Behind The Tee!

What would you do if God blessed you with a million dollars right now? Many of us would think about how could we spend it in that moment, mostly on ourselves. Then a small percentage of us would think about someone else's need. When God blesses us, He expects us to bless others with a portion, sometimes all. We need to understand that God's ultimate goal encompasses far more than just our own happiness, protection and prosperity. It's not the Lord's intention for His blessings to end with us, but that we will become a river and not a reservoir. If we begin to understand that everything belongs to God and we are just stewarding a portion of what He gave us, we will become better givers. God has plans for our money, why?, because He owns it. He lets us know how to use it. And if we follow His principles on how to use it. We will never run out, sometimes it will get low, real low, when He wants us to learn a lesson. For example in Luke 16:10, God says, "if you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in much. God wants to see us handling those few pennies well before He can give you some millions. Now, how are you stewarding your paycheck? The Lord supplies us with income so we can provide for our needs and wants. But He also wants us to use our money to achieve His plans. And one of His purpose for it is to share our resources with others. If we  purpose in our hearts to participate in His plans, He is committed to providing all we need. One of His promise is found in 2 Corinthians 9:8, "God is able to make all grace overflow to you, that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed". God is God of overflow in blessings of His people, but He is a God of integrity and purpose as well. Would you give your 12 year old child a car to drive, when you know he or she has not yet reach that level of age and maturity? It is the same with God, He wants to see us handling those few He has entrusted to us. When we share our blessings with others, God will enrich us in response to our generosity. He will increase the harvest of our righteousness. It can be tempting to be selfish when our finances or resources are threaten. Some of us hoard wealth possessions or even our time, but God reminds us that "a generous person will be prosperous and one who gives others plenty of water will himself be given plenty; the one who withholds grain, the people will curse him, but blessings will be on the head of him who sells it". Proverbs 11:25-26. A hoarded blessings is not enjoyed as richly as a shared one. A man in the bible was very rich, he thought he could build bigger properties to accumulate more riches rather than share it with others. When he decided that God said "Fool! This night your life will be demanded of from you" This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God". Using your gifts, resources and finances to meet someone else's need glorifies God by demonstrating His grace at work in your life. When God blesses you He's not only doing something for you, He is also doing something in and through you to affect other lives. Matthew 5:16 talks about your light shining before others and when they see your good deeds, they will glorify your Father in Heaven. When we share with and bless others they will give thanks unto God and God loves a thankful heart. How can we bless others? We can give to those in need or those who are poor. Proverbs 22:9 says "the generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor. God sees when we are generous, He wants us to have a giving heart like Him. God is also a giver, He gave His Only Begotten Son to the whole world as a sacrifice. Blessing others benefits both parties, the giver and the receiver. Why do we give?, because He gave to us in the first place. Without His grace, mercy and love, we would not be able to have what we have. The job, the business and the bank account, so we show our gratitude to Him by passing it down to others. Because we serve a God of abundance knowing our Father will always provide for our needs, so don't allow His generous provisions end with you. Pass them on and discover the joy of a never ending cycle of blessings. Our Heavenly Father we want to thank you for blessing us with spiritual and physical blessings. Help us to realize that we own nothing and everything belongs to you. Help us to be good stewards of those things you have put us over. Let your blessings never stops with me but allow me to be a conduit like a river. Help me not to worry about things that I do not have but be grateful for what you have blessed me with. Show me those who you want me to bless so that your name may be glorified. We thank you for every blessings, in Jesus' Name.
