Welcome To The Message Behind The Tee!

Do you ever wondered if you are doing what God has called you to do? Are you representing His image and His likeness? We are are called to be the light, a light that makes darkness disappear. When light comes on it makes everything visible, our fruit should be clear for everyone to see, so they may take a bite out of us. No one wants to consume rotten fruit, but a fruit that is good and edible. When you are in the world you carry darkness, the sinful nature. In darkness you cannot see, nothing is visible but when you come to Christ who is the ultimate light, He expects us to mirror that light. This light is not for us, but its for others to see Christ in us. 1 John 1 :5 says God is light, in Him there is no darkness at all. We cannot say we are representing God and we are walking in darkness. Light and darkness cannot mix, just as oil and water, they are not cohesive. To be a light means to live a life that mirrors Christ, because He is the original light, we must reflect Him in our daily walk. Jesus gave us an example on how  to be a light. John 5:19, Jesus answered and said, I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by Himself. He does only what He sees the Father do. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does. The question is, are you doing your own thing, believing you can be a light, independent of the Light. Christ tells us how we should live and showed us how we should live. First of all He calls us to love, love God and love people. He also tells us we must also forgive those who have hurt us. Jesus, while being tortured and nailed to the cross, asked the Father to forgive His killers. The things that people do to us most of the time are simple things but we hold on to them, not showing forgiveness. But, God who is merciful and loving, forgiving us everyday when we hurt Him wants us to do as He does. In our everyday lives we must show compassion, love and mercy to everyone we meet. I believe we don't have to verbally tell others about Jesus to win souls. But if we allow these fruit to show daily, others will want a bite out of  it. Now you are showing them Christ on earth, not just lip service but a heart posture. When Christ was here He never called a sermon, but the crowd would followed Him because they knew He was compassion and loving towards them. They knew He would fulfill a need at that moment, whether through healing, deliverance or feeding their hunger. So many would gather becomes of His fruit, they wanted a bite and Christ used that opportunity to tell them about the Kingdom of God. People in the dark are hearing what you are saying, they are looking at who you are representing. Being in the light does not mean you are without sin, it means you are in a relationship with Him. An evidence of being in the light is found in 1 John 1:7, fellowship with others is an evidence of Christ's light. The Kingdom calls for unity with each other, being able to be together fulfilling the purposes of God. Sin will interrupts our relationship with God for a brief moment. It's like our internet, sometimes the connection drops because there is an interruption. But we try our best to reset the connection so things can continue to function, we reboot the internet box, we unplug the appliances, we do all these in order for the continuance of service. Our reconnection is not denying we sin, but admitting to God and others and allowing the Holy Spirit to do the purification. So  don't beat yourself up when you have lost connection. Reboot and let your light keep shinning. When your light shine, others will see your good works and glorify Him in heaven. Our Savior and our King we thank you for being our example as a great light. Thank you for showing us how to live and how to be an example to others. We asked you to allow your Holy Spirit to help us live the life that you have called us to live, a life that is pleasing to you, and others will appreciate who you are through us. We know that we are not perfect, but you have called us to live a holy life, a life that exemplifies the image and the likeness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We promise to be the light that has been set on a hill for the world to see, in Jesus Name. Thanks for watching, please like, share and subscribe. Remember Jesus loves you purposefully and intentionally.
