Welcome To The Message Behind The Tee

Have you ever felt so discouraged, so down that you feel like giving up, wanting to forfeiting the race that is before you. Life has gotten so hard and you don't know what to do because everything seems to be out of control. Life is a journey, but the journey takes you through challenges, wilderness and desert, through fire and terrains. Through storms and blizzards, yes all these must happen in everyone's life. Do we like them, no. Do we enjoy them, absolutely not, but we we have no choice but to experience life's peril. No matter who we are or where we are from, life is a roller coaster ride. One minute you are up and one minute you are down. It leaves you feeling weak and discouraged, you have to drag yourself to get through the day. In my personal experience when I have these days I hope for Christ's return, that Jesus would come and take me to heaven where there is no more pain and no more crying. Yes, I am human and do feel like that, I yearn like Paul to be with Christ. I know some of you sometimes feel the same way and that's OK. Paul said to live is Christ but to die is gain, Philippians 1:21. Whether you are saved or not, life is about experiences, and those experiences are because of choices we made. And  when we make those choices, it determines the life we will have. Many believe if they become saved their life will be free of troubles, but not so. Psalm 34:19 says, "The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all". Job said in Job 14:1 "Man is born of woman is of a few days and full of trouble". Yes, so life is a journey that goes through dark tunnels that makes us want to give up and lose hope. We may feel as though we are about to drown and the fire as been heated ten times hotter and it may have. But the question is who are you doing life with? We are not called to go through life on our own, physically or spiritually but to have God as our Helper and Deliverer. Many times we just want to curl up in a corner and watch the room gets smaller and smaller, but God never told us to carry our own burdens. He told us we are going to have them and He told us we are going to suffer, but He also told us how to handle them. 1 Peter 5:7, "cast all your troubles and cares on Him, because He cares for you, be alert and of sober mind, your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is under going the same kind of sufferings". We all go through different kinds of troubles and circumstances. It may be your health, it may be financial, it may be your spouse or your children or even your career, but this scripture reminds us to throw those worries and burdens on Him because He knows what to do with them. We serve a God that understand life. this is why Jesus Christ came in the flesh, He feels what we feel. He went through pains and sufferings as we do today. This is why He intercedes for us on  a daily basis. God may not cause our pains and hurts but He allows it. Why? because He has plans to use it. He uses it to process us as pure gold, to form character in us, to produce fruits in us and to bear His image and likeness. Joseph had big dreams as a boy, but did not know he first had to go through the hatred of his brothers, being sold into slavery, being lied on by his boss's wife and thrown into prison for a crime he did not commit. Joseph could have given up but throughout his troubles but God was with him. He allowed God to use his troubles that eventually produced managerial skills in Potipher's house and in the prison, little did Joseph knew God was preparing him for a greater service. It was through one of his spiritual gifting of his dreams that God moved him to a higher purpose of becoming the governor of Egypt to save his family and many others from famine. What is God preparing you for? Who are you going save? We may not see what God is doing behind the scenes, but keep praying and trusting, Joseph said, "What was meant for evil, God meant it for good". What good can come from your troubles, if you stick around  long enough with God, He will show you and take you places that no one can, not even yourself. Look at what God promised to His children who are suffering with Him in 1 Peter 5:10, "After you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ will Himself restore, confirm, strengthen and establish you. He knows what you are going through, He is Sovereign, but He wants you to come to Him in prayer and give it all to Him. Philippians 4:6-7 gives us the antidote for our troubles. One, Don't worry about nothing, God is saying whatever the problem is big or small, do not concern yourself with it. Two, pray about everything, meaning talk to me instead about it, whether big or small. Three, while praying, submitting and humbling yourself before God and giving Him thanks is a priority. Four, tell Him what you need, and He will handle it how He sees best. Our Father, Savior and Lord we thank you for everything, whether we are up or not doing so well. We know you know everything and everything is in your control. We asked that you help us navigate life with the help of the Holy Spirit. That you will give us wisdom on how to respond to life's challenges daily. We cannot do life without you so we are seeking your ways and thoughts in our circumstances. We thank you for keeping us so far, protecting us, guiding us and sustaining us through it all. Let our light shine so others will glorify you in Heaven.
