Welcome To The Message Behind The Tee!
We see in scriptures that without faith it is impossible to please God, so as believers we must have faith in God, it is a part of how we live, faith is a lifestyle, not just an event. We are expected to grow our faith throughout our walk with God. God is a God of increase, taking His children from level to level, and from glory to glory. But how do God grow our faith in Him? Through God testing us, we may call them challenges, that appear to want to block us or stop us from going forward. These challenges will often get us angry and frustrated and sometimes makes us cry. But God told us that we should consider it pure joy when we go through fiery trials of many kinds. There are a few ways God uses to grow our faith in Him. God wants us to trust Him if we are going to be a relationship with Him. And so He uses different ways to do so. One, the experiences we go through with Him. When we see the hand of God in our situation and circumstances we will begin to collect experiential badges of honor because He has shown Himself faithful and just in those times when it seems as though we would go under by our challenges. But God uses these challenges to allow us to experience how good He is to us. Challenges put us in a mind set of standing still and letting Him fight our battles, seeing how His great and mighty hand rescues us. A great example is the children of Israel at the red sea. They taught that the enemy was behind them to recapture them to bring them back to slavery but God always has a plan to deliver His people in order for them to see His power. God parted the red sea and they went over on dry land. This event is mentioned many times in scriptures because of the impossibilities according to man. Many times we don't see how God is going to rescue us, the red sea before us and Pharaoh's army behind, but these challenges just gives us an opportunity to see and experience the mighty move of God and the opportunity to grow our faith in Him more. Another way we grow our faith is to hear God's Word, Romans 10:17 says "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Everybody else's word does not matter, but God's Word is very important to a believer. God is always speaking but are you listening. It is crucial that we as believers are hearing from God, what is He saying to us on a daily basis and what He is saying in our circumstances. God gives a specific word of promise, encouragement, direction and warning. Hearing that word builds and grow our faith in Him. When we get that Word we must meditate on it and that is where our breakthrough and miracles comes from. In ( ) Jesus told the disciples let us go over the other side, they got in the boat. Jesus went to sleep as storm came brewing. The boat appear as though it was going to sink, the disciples got scared, woke Jesus and ask Him, if He did not care if they were going to die. Jesus woke up and evaluate their faith saying how little it was. Their faith was little because they forgot the word that was spoken. Jesus promising that they would reach the other side. Jesus was confident of reaching the other side, because He took a pillow and went to sleep. If the disciple had remember those Word Jesus spoke, it would have build their faith, they would have gotten a pillow, slept and ride out the storm. What word God has given you? Hold on to it, keep meditating on it and you will see your faith rise. Thirdly, keep seeking God daily. God loves a person who is desperate for Him. He wants to know you need Him and not only His hands. When you seek God in your circumstances and challenges, your faith grows. You will begin to see His love, grace and mercy in small areas of your life. And you will begin to appreciate the simple things in life such as waking up and having breath, the perfect weather for the day and seeing your love ones are all safe at the end of the day. Many people miss the small humble beginnings of life making them ungrateful . But when we learn to look for God in everything we do daily, it grows our faith in Him. Jeremiah 29:13 says you will find me when you seek me with all your heart".You see God does not intend for us to be in one place. He is a God of increase and greater. He uses different points to get us to the place where He wants us to be, which is the greater. Why, because in the end He gets the glory, honor and praise. Our Savior and King we are thankful that you can allow us to be a part of your Kingdom, sharing your faith principles and lifestyle. We cannot please you without faith, so we are asking you to help us to grow our faith to the size of a mustard seed. Help us to hear your Word, believe and do, because faith without works is dead.
