Welcome To The Message Behind The Tee!

Do you ever wonder why your obedience to God makes circumstances and situations worse? That being obedient will immediately have those around you in favor of you, but sometimes the opposite happens. When you are being led by God, people in your family, your friends don't understand the reason why you do what you do. Many times we try to explain ourselves to others about what we are doing is due to obedience to God. Explaining this you may have taught they would understand, but in fact the situation just seems to get worse. But what do you do? One of Charles Stanley Life Principles says "Obey God and leave all consequences to Him". Just remember who you are pleasing, God not man. John wrote in chapter 5:30, "For I seek not to please myself, but Him who sent me". When we focus more on Him and continue to what He called you to do, you will find your strength in Him. Remind yourself that we as believers "don't fight against flesh and blood but against rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm", Ephesians 6:12. So even though our family, friends and coworkers do not agree with our decisions and the choices we make, it's not them that are the problem but its the enemy working through them. They may degrade you, call you names and say all manner of evil against you, just remember Christ went through those same scenarios multiple times. They called Jesus a drunk, He had devils, He was a blasphemer, but how did Jesus encouraged those who may go through the same things. He called us blessed. Matthew 5:10-12 says " Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven, blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all  kinds of evil against you because of me". "Rejoice and be glad because great is your reward in Heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you". You see, there is a blessing for going through the insults and disappointment that comes your way. Its a way of looking at it that you are doing the right thing. You may say it hurts because of who is doing it, your mother, your father, your friend, your children, those who are close to you. In a way that is good too because they will have front row tickets to see the evidence of what God is doing for you and through you. David said in Psalm 37:5, "Commit your way to the LORD, trust in Him and He will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun". When your breakthrough comes, it will come in a way that it can only point to the work of God in your life. Do not get discouraged or dismay, your Heavenly Father promised that when mother and father forsake you then He will take care of you, Psalm 27:10. Let your light shine from the inside out, not what you look like or what you wear but your characteristics of the Holy Spirit. Continue to love those who hate you or reject you because your reward is sure. Your focus is to continue to please an audience of One and your relationship with Him matters. Don't get angry or mad when others oppose you because  the Bible says it will only lead to evil, but overcome evil with good. I pray that you will continue to hold the faith and keep doing what God has called you to do even when others around you do not understand or get you. I pray that you will persist, persevere and endure the challenges that will come on this journey. I pray your strength in Him who has called us to do good works and that you never give up despite the insults and rejections in your life. We thank you Jesus for being there for us and encouraging us with your on time Word. Please like, share and subscribe to this channel if you were encouraged by it.
