Welcome To The Message Behind The Tee!

We are told as believers that we must exercise faith, it is a part of our kingdom lifestyle and it is also a kingdom principle. God said in Hebrews 11:6  "without faith it is impossible to please Him", "Anything from faith is also called a sin,", Romans 14:23, which may fall into luck, chance and fate. But since we are operating from a godly lifestyle we will exhibit faith in our daily lives. In scriptures we see faith in different stages. The first stage is small faith, this is the faith we know God is able but will He do it for me? This kind of faith struggles, one minute I believe but in the next I don't, one example is found in Matthew 8:23-27, When Jesus and His disciples got into a boat, when a furious storm came on the lake and the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciple went and woke Him saying, "Lord, save us, we are going to drown. He replied, "You of little faith, why are you so afraid? Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the waves and it was completely calm. The men were amazed and asked, "What kind of man is this"? Even the winds and waves obey Him. We see here, Jesus described their faith as little, Why? Because they forgot what He had said, they were going over to the other side, they forgot His promise, they forgot His Words. How could they have shown great faith or perfect faith? They could have done what Jesus was doing, sleep or the other option, rebuked the winds themselves. How did they show small faith?, They believed He could stop the raging water and angry winds. That was as far as their faith was. They did not believe that during the storm they would have still reach the other side as Jesus promised. Our next level of faith is great faith, this faith says I know He can and I know He will, still not sure how and when, depending of where the focus is at that moment. A great example of great faith is Abraham and Sarah in Genesis 21. In the beginning when God told them they were going to be parents, they both laughed but God kept His promised and they both had the promised child, Isaac. Their faith grew from little faith to great faith. This is where Abraham had no problem to sacrifice Isaac when God told him to do so. Perfect faith is what we should aim for in our relationship with God. That faith that says it's already done no matter what it looks like. An unbeliever, yes an unbeliever portrayed perfect faith and this amazed Jesus Himself. In Matthew 8:5-13, a Centurion came to Jesus for help because one of his servant became sick and was paralyzed. Jesus said to him, "I will come and heal him". The Centurion replied, "Lord I do not deserve to have you come to my house, but just say the word and my servant will be healed. When Jesus heard this He was amazed. He turned to those following Him, "I tell you the truth, I have not seen faith like this in all of Israel". The Centurion knew once Jesus' Word went forth, healing would take place. He believed that Jesus did not have to be there physically for the spiritual to manifest. He understood the power of Jesus' Words. This is what we should be doing, speaking Christ Words over our situation, over our circumstances, believing that those Words have  already changed the situation. Perfect faith is facing the facts of your current situation, but still not allowing them to waiver your belief. A belief that says God has power and He has done it because I have spoken Christ Words over my life. What is your level of faith?,  Ask God to show you and empower you to grow more. God is willing to help you because He wants you to function by faith, that is the only way to receive things from the Kingdom of Heaven. Your blessings comes by faith and your circumstances change through faith. Heavenly Father we ask that you make us aware of where our faith lies. If we have small faith, through daily challenges help us to grow our faith in you, and through our experiences with you, great faith will become perfect faith. Jesus no matter what happens, help us to continue to trust in you knowing that you have already done it. We thank you for your powerful Words over us, that is able to bring dead things back to life, because you call those things that are not as though they were. We give you thanks in Jesus' Mighty Name.
